PS50M-PC INTEGRATED MASS FLOW PLASMA SYSTEM WITH TOUCH SCREEN
This fully safety interlocked unit includes both gas and water pressure sensors to prevent harm or damage to other elements of the system. Start up, operation and shut down of the system is fully sequenced. The system is fitted with primary and secondary mass flow controllers giving precise flow control. The mass flow system provides complete segregation of secondary gas from the electrical controls: which is particularly important when hydrogen is uses.
The plasma controller provides precision control of the power supply unit(s), torch cooling system, powder feed and torch gas. Easy to read flow, volt and current meters ensure consistent torch operation, while incorporating safety interlocks.
The control box contains:
·Pistol monitoring and power control
·Monitoring and ON/OFF switches for plasma gases and powder feed sequence
·Emergency stop button
The following outputs will be controlled directly from the PLC in the control box:
·Plasma Gas
·Secondary Gas
·Powder feeder selection
·Powder feed gas
·Powder feed rate
·Plasma Current

MINI PLASMA SPRAY PISTOL EXTENSION
A 7-15Kw operating pistol utilizing argon as the plasma gas, available as a 68 Deg MINIGUN-A or 90Deg MINIGUN-S.
This variant is ideal for general metal and ceramic coatings. The use of low gas flow gives a high specific enthalpy of the plasma gas, which coupled with internal powder injection, ensures optimum particle melting producing high quality coatings. Low pressures of argon gas and a large electrode permit long electrode life, typically 80 hours of spraying. The Nozzle can easily be removed from the pistol and has been designed with the addition of cooling fins for a longer life.
The mini gun is very compact with a gun diameter of 50mm including the insulated handle. It can therefore be used in awkward areas or, if fitted as an extension, be used to spray bores. The exact orientation must be specified with order.
Due to the low power level, the unit also causes little heating of substrates and is well suited to the spraying of small or thin gauge components.
Standard length is 400mm with other options available upon request (maximum 900mm). |
